A Desktop 3D Printer from Raise3D The E2 is a desktop 3D printer with independent dual extruders (also known as IDEX). The hot end is easily swappable for convenient maintenance or when printing with different materials. The E2's automatic bed leveling and BuildTak FlexPlate make it user-friendly and contribute to high-quality 3D prints. This desktop 3D printer can print with a variety of filaments, and its unique extruder gear design allows it to handle flexible 3D printing materials such as TPU. IDEX (Independent Dual Extrusion)
- With IDEX, one extruder can stand still and to the side while the second extruder prints the model.
- Mirror mode prints a model and a mirrored version of the same model at the same time.
- Copy mode is a synchronized printing mode, meaning it uses both extruders to print a model and an exact copy of that model simultaneously.
|
Easy Swap Print Heads
- These nozzles are easy to remove, making it simple and quick to swap one nozzle for another.
- Any spare Easy Swap Nozzle can be easily prepared with hardened nozzles and different sized nozzles, such as 0.4mm, 0.6mm, and 0.8mm nozzles for switching in a few steps and continuing to print.

|
Automatic Bed Leveling
- Automatic bed leveling uses sensors to measure the distance between the print bed and the nozzle at various points on the bed and uses this information to adjust the nozzle to ensure the correct distance between the bed and the nozzle during printing.
- This means that the extruder can adjust to minor changes in the surface contour, improving bed adhesion and overall print quality.
|
Flexible Build Plate - The build plate is a temporary flat surface that adheres to the bottom layer of the model during printing. It is also the surface where adhesive is applied when printing with certain types of filament.
- The E2 has a BuildTak FlexPlate, a flexible build plate. The BuildTak FlexPlate can bend, allowing for easy removal of 3D printed parts, reducing the possibility of damage to the final print when removing the print from the plate.
| |
| Monitoring Camera - The E2 has a camera to monitor the entire 3D printing process of every print job. This camera works by connecting to RaiseCloud, allowing users to monitor every print job remotely. The ability to check the 3D printing process provides peace of mind.
|
Power Loss Recovery - Both power outages and filament runouts (when the filament runs out) can cause print jobs to be lost if they occur during the 3D printing process. However, the E2 has a filament runout sensor on the extruder to warn when the filament is running low and to save the print job. It also has a power loss recovery function to save the position and resume printing in case of a power outage.
