Materialise 3-matic Design Optimization Software

Vinnotek is proud to be an Authorized Distributor of Materialise software in Vietnam. Materialize is the world's leading software in the field of 3D printing that provides comprehensive solutions in data preparation before 3D printing, communication between software and 3D printers, production management system (Manufacturing). Execution System), a platform of software tools that makes 3D printing process more efficient and controlled, allowing you to meet the highest standards of the most demanding industries. We give you a solid foundation to expand and reach your full potential.

Without the right software, creating a printable 3D design file takes a lot of time and effort. Magics simplifies data and build preparation with an easy-to-use solution that includes both CAD and mesh tools. Whether you want precise control over your workflow or quick, optimized improvements at the touch of a button, Magics will guide you to success.

TEXTURE CREATION

Textures are an essential part of 3D model design. They not only serve decorative purposes but can also enhance the functionality of the product. With the texture creation module in Materialise 3-matic, you can create textures and perforations directly on STL files (which can then be printed using RP/AM technology). Additionally, you can quickly modify and preview the textured 3D ffile.

Why create 3D textures for products?

Enhance product performance

Leverage bio-mimicry and bioengineering design capabilities

Increase grip

Improve aerodynamic properties

Alter acoustic characteristics

Control density with perforations

Enhance the product's aesthetics

Unlimited design possibilities

Create unique and highly personalized products

Conceal layers after printing

Reduce post-processing steps

APPLY TEXTURES TO HUNDREDS OF SURFACES AT ONCE

With the Texture Module, you can efficiently apply hundreds of 3D textures directly onto STL files while keeping file size and triangle count to a minimum. You can also handle highly complex surfaces effectively and have full control over creating new textures.

Thanks to the slice-based technology integrated within the Materialise Build Processor, the step of converting a design file into an intermediate STL file is eliminated. Textures are applied directly on the slices, avoiding the need for large design files. The Texture Module allows designers to immediately incorporate hundreds of textures into their designs, bypassing tedious post-processing steps.

LATTICE STRUCTURE

In nature, countless objects are formed with a lattice structure, such as lotus leaves, honeycombs, and wood stems. This special structure provides strength and rigidity while maintaining necessary flexibility. Today, engineering designs often incorporate lattice structures to optimize performance and product features. Due to their inherent complexity, these structures cannot be produced by traditional methods. However, with 3D printing, anything is possible.

Why choose the 3-matic Lattice Module?

  • Optimize design
  • Create internal and external lattice structures
  • Increase durability, provide cushioning, or increase porosity
  • Reduce component weight
  • Compatible with Materialise's Build Processor and Magics
  • Diverse lattice structures
  • Add or edit on Unit Cell
  • Optimize design based on FEA analysis
  • Ensure printability and functionality

AUTOMATED SCRIPTING

Automating workflows is always the best way to save time, increase consistency, and improve productivity. The Scripting Module of Materialise 3-matic is designed to perform repetitive tasks, allowing you to focus on more interesting work. Once the workflow is scripted, tasks are completed with high efficiency, minimizing human error and significantly speeding up task completion.

Create automated workflows

Save time

Scale research

Achieve more consistent results

Avoid human errors

Perform multiple design iterations/variations

DATA

Import Module

With the Import Module of Materialise 3-matic, you can generate STL data from original CAD files or other formats, including IGES, VDA, VRML, Catia V4, V5, and V6, UG, Pro-E, and STEP files. Additionally, this module provides import and meshing functions for cloud data.

CAD Link Module

The CAD Link Module of Materialise 3-matic allows you to easily bring your files back into the CAD and CAM environments. Combining segmentation tools and intelligent automatic separation features with the new Quad Dominant patching method, this module provides a complete solution for converting STL files to IGES or STEP, optimized for processing in CAM software.

Basic analytic shapes will be converted with precise parameters, while organic regions will be converted to NURBS to achieve fully parametric designs.

Remesh Module

The Remesh Module of Materialise 3-matic allows you to prepare a printed product for CAE applications. Surface meshes are optimized through various manual and automatic editing operations, ensuring file quality and size control. The Remesh Module also provides volumetric meshing, enabling you to create Tet4 and Tet10 volumetric meshes. These surface and volumetric meshes can be exported to Fluent, Ansys, Abaqus, Comsol, Patran, and Nastran file formats.

Additionally, lattice beams designed in Materialise 3-matic can be exported to Abaqus and Optistruct, allowing you to fully analyze the structural integrity of lightweight components before printing.
